【轉知】國立中山大學/NSYSU-「讓學生在雙語及全英授課中自信起步(Scaffolding Your Students in a Bilingual/EMI Class)」線上工作坊

主旨：本校雙語教育資源中心與國立臺南藝術大學合作辦理「讓學生在雙語及全英授課中自信起步(Scaffolding Your Students in a Bilingual/EMI Class)」線上工作坊，歡迎踴躍報名參加。

說明：

  1. 未協助大專校院教師提升英語授課之能，精進EMI授課語言技巧級EMI課程活動設計，特辦理旨揭工作坊。

  2. 活動資訊如下：

(一) 講題：讓學生在雙語及全英授課中自信起步(Scaffolding Your Students in a Bilingual/EMI Class)

(二)時間：113年05月09日(四) 13：30-15：30。

(三)地點：採線上辦理，Google Meet連結將於會前寄發，請留意所填電子信箱是否為常用信箱。

(四)講者：新加坡南洋理工大學人文學院高級講師謝依縉博士（美國印第安納大學伯明頓分校語言教育博士）

(五)對象：全國大專校院教師，參與紀錄列入國立中山大學雙語教育資源中心「EMI教師增能培訓計畫」課程時數基礎級2小時。

(六)語言：以英語為主。

Subject: Invitation to Online Workshop: "Scaffolding Your Students in a Bilingual/EMI Class"


Description:

To assist college and university instructors in enhancing their English teaching skills and refining their EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) course activity design, our school's Bilingual Education Resource Center is collaborating with National Tainan University of the Arts to organize an online workshop as follows:


Event Information:

(1) Topic: Scaffolding Your Students in a Bilingual/EMI Class

(2) Date & Time: May 9th, 113th Year of the Republic of China (Thursday), 13:30-15:30

(3) Location: Conducted online via Google Meet. The meeting link will be sent prior to the event. Please ensure that the email address provided is regularly checked.

(4) Speaker: Dr. Yee Jin Chee, Senior Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University, School of Humanities (Ph.D. in Language Education from Indiana University Bloomington, USA)

(5) Target Audience: Instructors from colleges and universities nationwide. Participation will be recorded as 2 hours towards the basic level of the National Sun Yat-sen University Bilingual Education Resource Center's "EMI Teacher Capacity Enhancement Training Program."

(6) Language: Primarily conducted in English.

(7) Registration Deadline: Before 17:30 on May 3rd.
