【轉知】國立臺灣師範大學 -《2025年德州大學奧斯汀分校EMI教師培訓課程》/ University of Texas at Austin EMI Teacher Training Program

主旨：本校EMI教學資源中心辦理《2025年德州大學奧斯汀分校EMI教師培訓課程》之資訊，詳如說明，請惠予轉知並邀請貴校EMI教師踴躍報名參加。

說明：

一、本校EMI教學資源中心與美國德州大學奧斯汀分校 (The University of Texas at Austin, UT Austin) 合作辦理客製化暑期移地培訓課程，內容涵蓋觀摩 UT Austin 教師授課、工作坊、教案試教、回國後教案執行與成果追蹤；學費由本計畫支應。

二、申請期間：2025年2月17日至4月17日，隨到隨審，額滿為止。

三、申請方式：由各校雙語單位推薦教師，推薦教師需填妥推薦表、繳交EMI課程大綱，並錄製三分鐘全英語自述影片上傳至線上表單。同一學院至多可推薦一名EMI教師。詳情請參閱本中心網頁(https://www.obe.ntnu.edu.tw/index.php/rcemi_zh/outa/)。

Subject: Invitation to Apply for the 2025 University of Texas at Austin EMI Teacher Training Program

Dear Sir/Madam,

The EMI Teaching Resource Center at our university is pleased to announce the 2025 University of Texas at Austin EMI Teacher Training Program. We kindly ask you to share this opportunity with your institution’s EMI faculty and encourage them to apply.

Program Details:

  1. Objective:
    In collaboration with The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), we are offering a customized summer training program that includes:

    • Observing UT Austin faculty teaching
    • Participating in workshops
    • Teaching lesson plans and receiving feedback
    • Post-program lesson plan implementation and follow-up

  2. The tuition fees for this program will be covered by the project.

  3. Application Period:

    • February 17, 2025 – April 17, 2025 (Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until spots are filled)

  4. Application Process:

    • Faculty members must be recommended by their university’s bilingual unit.
    • The recommended teachers must complete the following:
      • Fill out the recommendation form
      • Submit an EMI course syllabus
      • Upload a 3-minute self-introduction video in English to the online form

  5. Each college can recommend only one EMI teacher.
