【轉知】國立中興大學 -EMI Together!系列工作坊/National Chung Hsing University — "EMI Together!" Workshop Series

主旨：檢送本校EMI教學資源中心與本校工學院、國立臺中教育大學通識中心及國立雲林科技大學教學卓越中心合作辦理之4場EMI Together!系列工作坊資訊，敬請惠予轉知並鼓勵貴校教師踴躍報名參加，請查照。

說明：

一、為協助各大專院校提升EMI課程之教學知能，本校EMI教學資源中心將辦理旨揭研習，秉持資源共享之理念，提升教師教授EMI課程之助益及成效。

二、旨揭4場研習資訊如下：

(一)第1場(已截止)

１、主題：EMI Together! In Education: Bridging Student Learning Realities with the Growth of Academic English Proficiency

２、講者：逢甲大學 外語教學中心 王鈺琪 副教授。

３、時間：115年5月22日（星期五）12:10-13:10。

４、辦理方式：線上會議。

５、報名日期：即日起至115年5月15日或額滿為止。

(二)第2場

１、主題：EMI Together! EMI Transformation and Growth in Data Analysis Courses

２、講者：國立中興大學環境工程系Remi Chauvy助理教授。

Subject: Information on 4 sessions of the "EMI Together!" Workshop Series jointly organized by the NCHU EMI Teaching and Learning Center, the NCHU College of Engineering, the General Education Center of National Taichung University of Education, and the Center for Teaching Excellence of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Please kindly disseminate this information and encourage faculty members at your institution to enthusiastically register and participate.

Details:

  1. To assist universities and colleges in enhancing their pedagogical expertise in EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses, the EMI Teaching and Learning Center of our university is organizing the aforementioned workshops. Adhering to the philosophy of resource sharing, these sessions aim to boost the effectiveness and benefits for instructors teaching EMI courses.

  2. Information regarding the 4 workshops is as follows:

    (1) Session 1 (Registration Closed)

    • Topic: EMI Together! In Education: Bridging Student Learning Realities with the Growth of Academic English Proficiency

    • Speaker: Dr. Yu-Chi Wang, Associate Professor, Language Center, Feng Chia University.

    • Time: May 22, 2026 (Friday), 12:10–13:10.
