【轉知】國立臺灣師範大學-《哥倫比亞大學EMI教師培訓課程》Columbia University EMI Teacher Training Program

主旨：本校EMI教學資源中心辦理《哥倫比亞大學EMI教師培訓課程》相關資訊，敬請惠予轉知並鼓勵貴校EMI教師踴躍報名參加。說明：

一、為因應2030雙語政策與教育國際化需求，本校EMI教學資源中心（以下簡稱本中心）將與美國哥倫比亞大學師範學院(Teachers College, Columbia University) 合作，於114年6月23日至7月4日移地美國紐約辦理實體EMI教師培訓課程。本課程旨在協助教師全面提升英語授課的品質與應用能力，藉由多元教學模式與策略分享，增進教學成效。

二、本課程為客製化暑期移地培訓，涵蓋需求評估與學習分析、基礎教學技能、21世紀教學法及教學科學與實踐等四大模組，並結合返國後的混成式培訓與研究成果產出，期望教師能將所學融入教學實務並產出研究成果。學費由本計畫支應，參加教師需具備良好的英語能力，能全程參與課程並完成相關研究工作。歡迎各大專院校符合條件之EMI教師踴躍報名。

三、申請期程：即日起至12月中旬，隨到隨審，額滿為止。

Subject: Information on the "Columbia University EMI Teacher Training Program" organized by our EMI Teaching Resource Center. Kindly assist in disseminating this information and encourage EMI teachers at your institution to register and participate.

Description:

  1. Background: In response to the 2030 Bilingual Policy and the needs of educational internationalization, our EMI Teaching Resource Center (hereafter referred to as "the Center") will collaborate with the Teachers College, Columbia University, to offer an on-site EMI Teacher Training Program in New York, USA, from June 23 to July 4, 2025. This program aims to help teachers enhance the quality and effectiveness of their English-medium instruction through diverse teaching strategies and sharing of best practices.

  2. Program Details: This customized summer training program will include four major modules: Needs Assessment and Learning Analysis, Basic Teaching Skills, 21st Century Pedagogies, and Teaching Science and Practice. Additionally, a blended post-return training and research output phase will be included. The goal is for teachers to integrate what they have learned into their teaching practices and produce research outcomes. The program fees will be covered by the project, but participants must possess good English proficiency, be able to fully engage in the course, and complete the related research work. EMI teachers from eligible higher education institutions are encouraged to apply.
