【轉知】國立臺灣師範大學-《EMI教師增能課程》(“EMI Teacher Professional Development Program” )

主旨：本校EMI教學資源中心將於2026年上半年辦理《EMI教師增能課程》，詳如說明，請惠予轉知並邀請貴校教師踴躍報名參加，請查照。

說明：

  1. 國立臺灣師範大學EMI教學資源中心（以下簡稱本中心）因應教育部「大專校院學生雙語化學習計畫」，規劃《EMI教師增能課程》專案，旨在提升大專院校在職專任（含專案）EMI教師的專業知能，協助教師精進EMI教學技巧，共同提升大專校院EMI教學品質。

  2. 此課程敬邀全國大專院校，曾開設或有意於114及115學年度開設EMI課程之在職專任教師（含專案）。課程包含四個模組，分別為EMI教學環境（12小時、線上非同步課程）、EMI教學法（12小時、線上非同步課程）、EMI跨文化溝通（6小時、線上非同步課程）、教案共備工作坊（2小時，線上同步），以及EMI教學演示（6小時，實體），共計36小時。此課程理論實作並重，教師可依據需求打造個人化的學習課表。完成課程要求者可獲「EMI教學增能課程」結訓證書。

  6. 線上課程：2026年2月23日（星期一）至6月14日（星期日）。

  7. 教案共備工作坊：2026年9月23日（星期三）。

  8. 教學演示暨成果發表會：2026年11月13日（星期五）至11月14日（星期六）。

  1. 證書發放：

  1. 2026年11月14日（星期六）內達成完課標準者，即可獲頒本中心核發之「EMI教學增能課程」結業證書乙張。證書於成果發表會後一週以電子檔發送。

  2. 部分完成者可獲得出席證明（上詳載時數），時數皆可保留至任一期程之課程抵免。

Description:

To support the Ministry of Education’s Bilingual Education for Students in College (BEST) Program, the EMI Teaching Resource Center of National Taiwan Normal University (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) has designed the “EMI Teacher Professional Development Program.” The program aims to enhance the professional competence of in-service full-time (including project-based) EMI instructors in higher education institutions, strengthen EMI teaching techniques, and jointly improve EMI instructional quality across universities.

The program cordially invites full-time in-service faculty members (including project-based staff) from higher education institutions nationwide who have previously offered EMI courses or intend to offer EMI courses in the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 academic years. The curriculum consists of four modules:

  • EMI Teaching Environment (12 hours, asynchronous online)

  • EMI Pedagogy (12 hours, asynchronous online)

  • EMI Intercultural Communication (6 hours, asynchronous online)

  • Lesson Co-Planning Workshop (2 hours, synchronous online)

  • EMI Teaching Demonstration (6 hours, in person)

The total duration of the program is 36 hours. Combining theory with practice, the program allows instructors to customize their learning schedule based on individual needs. Participants who complete all requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion for the EMI Teacher Professional Development Program.

Registration and Course Schedule:

  • Registration Period: From now until January 30, 2026 (Friday).

Course Duration:

  • Online Courses: February 23, 2026 (Monday) to June 14, 2026 (Sunday)

  • Lesson Co-Planning Workshop: September 23, 2026 (Wednesday)

  • Teaching Demonstration & Final Presentation: November 13–14, 2026 (Friday–Saturday)

Certificate Issuance:

Participants who meet all completion requirements by November 14, 2026 (Saturday) will receive a completion certificate issued by the Center. Certificates will be sent electronically within one week after the final presentation.
Participants who complete part of the program will receive an attendance certificate (with the corresponding hours listed), and all accumulated hours may be applied as credit toward future program offerings.

    (Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Late submissions will not be accepted.)
    Institutions with special program needs are welcome to contact the Center.

  • Registration Confirmation: The Center will send a confirmation email by February 4, 2026 (Wednesday), including login information for the Moodle course platform and the Sensay AI speaking system. Access to the program will be granted upon receiving the confirmation.
