【轉知】國立臺灣師範大學 -跨校公開觀議課(Inter-University Open Classroom Observation and Discussion)

主旨：檢送本校 EMI 教學資源中心與輔仁大學、國立臺灣大學、國立臺北大學、逢甲大學、慈濟大學、國立中正大學、中華醫事科技大學、高雄醫學大學及國立高雄師範大學共同辦理雙語聯盟跨校公開觀議課、圓桌會議及AI講座相關資訊，詳如說明，請惠予轉知並鼓勵貴校EMI教師踴躍報名參加，請查照。

說明：

一、本校EMI教學資源中心（以下簡稱本中心）於114學年度第2學期，與本校雙語教育推動辦公室、輔仁大學織品服裝學院、國立臺灣大學雙語教育中心、國立臺北大學商學院辦公室、逢甲大學雙語教學資源中心、慈濟大學外語教學中心、國立中正大學語言中心、中華醫事科技大學教學發展中心、高雄醫學大學教務處及國立高雄師範大學共同辦理18場「跨校公開觀議課」。其中，與逢甲大學及高雄醫學大學亦合作辦理圓桌會議及AI講座之一日系列活動。

二、本中心已於114學年度第1學期辦理14場EMI跨校公開觀議課，114學年度第2學期續辦18場由移地培訓返臺教師公開授課之跨校公開觀議課，邀請各校EMI教師分享教學實踐，並透過實地觀課、專家回饋與教學交流，提供全國EMI教師相互觀摩及專業對話之機會。

(一)跨校公開觀議課：邀請本中心曾於2025年暑期赴美國德州大學奧斯汀分校，以及於2026年赴澳洲新南威爾斯大學參與培訓並返臺之EMI教師公開展示課堂，提供EMI教師具體之教學示範與實務參考。各場次皆邀請相關專家學者擔任與談人，於課後進行觀議與交流，共同探討EMI教學設計、課堂實踐及教學品質精進之可能方向。

(二)雙語聯盟圓桌會議及AI講座：聚焦於雙語增能之理念、方法及公開觀議課推動歷程；AI講座則著重探討如何運用AI輔助教學設計，支持EMI課堂中批判思考之發展，並結合實務案例與跨領域教學經驗進行交流。

(三)相關場次如下：

１、4月14日：（南區）高雄醫學大學。

２、4月20日：（中區）逢甲大學。

Forwarding information on the Bilingual Alliance inter-university open classroom observation and discussion sessions, roundtable meetings, and AI lecture jointly organized by our University’s EMI Teaching Resource Center and partner institutions, including Fu Jen Catholic University, National Taiwan University, National Taipei University, Feng Chia University, Tzu Chi University, National Chung Cheng University, Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology, Kaohsiung Medical University, and National Kaohsiung Normal University. Please kindly circulate this information and encourage EMI instructors at your institution to register and participate.

Explanation:

  1. During the second semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, the EMI Teaching Resource Center of our University (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”), in collaboration with the Office of Bilingual Education of our University, the College of Fashion and Textiles of Fu Jen Catholic University, the Center for Bilingual Education of National Taiwan University, the Office of the College of Business of National Taipei University, the Bilingual Teaching Resource Center of Feng Chia University, the Foreign Language Teaching Center of Tzu Chi University, the Language Center of National Chung Cheng University, the Center for Teaching and Learning Development of Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology, the Office of Academic Affairs of Kaohsiung Medical University, and National Kaohsiung Normal University, will jointly organize 18 sessions of “Inter-University Open Classroom Observation and Discussion.” In addition, roundtable meetings and an AI lecture will be co-organized with Feng Chia University and Kaohsiung Medical University as part of a one-day series of events.

  2. In the first semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, the Center organized 14 EMI inter-university open classroom observation sessions. In the second semester, 18 additional sessions will be held, featuring returning instructors who completed overseas training programs and will conduct demonstration classes. EMI instructors from participating universities will share their teaching practices, and through on-site classroom observation, expert feedback, and professional exchange, these activities aim to provide EMI instructors nationwide with opportunities for mutual learning and professional dialogue.

    (1) Inter-University Open Classroom Observation and Discussion:
    EMI instructors who previously participated in training programs at The University of Texas at Austin (summer 2025) and at the University of New South Wales, Australia (2026) will demonstrate their teaching through open classes. These sessions provide practical teaching demonstrations and references for EMI instructors. Each session will invite relevant scholars and experts to serve as discussants, who will engage in post-class discussion and exchange on EMI course design, classroom practices, and potential approaches for enhancing teaching quality.

    (2) Bilingual Alliance Roundtable Meetings and AI Lecture:
    The roundtable meetings will focus on the concepts and approaches of bilingual capacity-building as well as the development and implementation of open classroom observation initiatives. The AI lecture will explore how artificial intelligence can support instructional design and foster critical thinking in EMI classrooms, incorporating practical examples and interdisciplinary teaching experiences.
