【轉知】國立臺灣師範大學-《跨校公開觀議課》/National Taiwan Normal University - "Cross-School Public Discussion Classes"

主旨：本校EMI教學資源中心與國立政治大學、輔仁大學、淡江大學、長庚科技大學、國立中央大學、中華大學、國立中興大學、中臺科技大學、慈濟大學辦理《跨校公開觀議課》之資訊，詳如說明，請惠予轉知並邀請貴校EMI教師踴躍報名參加。

說明：

一、本校EMI教學資源中心（以下簡稱本中心）於113學年第1學期與本校雙語教育推動辦公室、國立政治大學雙語及多元文化推動辦公室及英語教學中心、輔仁大學管理學院雙語中心、淡江大學全英語教學推動中心、長庚科技大學雙語教育推動資源中心、國立中央大學雙語教學推動資源中心、中華大學觀光學院雙語中心、國立中興大學農業暨自然資源學院及雙語教學推動資源中心、中臺科技大學語言中心、慈濟大學外語教學中心合作辦理14場《跨校公開觀議課》，邀請各校EMI 教師公開展示教學實踐，並透過實地觀摩與專家討論，為全國 EMI 教師提供豐富的學習與交流機會，促進全英語教學之全方位進步。

二、本次《跨校公開觀議課》邀請本校EMI教學資源中心舉辦暑期赴美國德州大學奧斯汀分校受訓返臺來自10校共14位EMI 教師公開展示他們的課堂，為EMI教師同儕提供具體的教學示範與參考。每場觀議課皆邀請與談專家，參與的專家學者將在課後進行深入討論，共同探討如何通過觀課交流促進教學質量提升，歡迎有興趣的教師與同仁踴躍報名。

Our EMI Teaching Resource Center is collaborating with National Chengchi University, Fu Jen Catholic University, Tamkang University, Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, National Central University, Chung Hua University, National Chung Hsing University, National Taichung University of Science and Technology, and Tzu Chi University to conduct the "Cross-School Public Observation and Discussion Classes." Please kindly share this information and encourage your EMI teachers to actively register for participation.

Explanation:

  1. Our EMI Teaching Resource Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") will host 14 sessions of "Cross-School Public Observation and Discussion Classes" in the first semester of the 113th academic year, in cooperation with various institutions. These sessions aim to provide a platform for EMI teachers from different universities to showcase their teaching practices through public demonstrations, and to facilitate rich learning and exchange opportunities via on-site observation and expert discussions, promoting comprehensive advancement in English-medium instruction.

  2. This round of "Cross-School Public Observation and Discussion Classes" will feature 14 EMI teachers from 10 universities who have recently completed training at the University of Texas at Austin during the summer. These teachers will publicly demonstrate their classes, providing concrete teaching examples and references for their peers. Each session will include invited experts who will lead in-depth discussions post-class to explore ways to enhance teaching quality through observation exchanges. Interested teachers and colleagues are encouraged to register actively.
