主旨：檢送本校EMI教學資源中心「Shaping the Future of Bilingual Collaboration: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning」成果發表暨國際研討會宣傳海報及議程各乙份，敬邀貴校教師參加，並請惠允參加教師公(差)假辦理，請查照。 

說明：

  1. 本校EMI教學資源中心主辦「Shaping the Future of Bilingual Collaboration: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning」成果發表暨研討會，旨在促進不同專業領 域教師分享學習成果與 EMI 授課經驗，深化交流互動。研討會內容包括赴美國哥倫比亞大學師範學院移地訓練、赴 美國德州大學奧斯汀分校移地訓練以及參與本中心36小時EMI教學增能課程之學員成果發表。同時設有兩場專題講座及EMI綜合座談，探討EMI理論與實務的結合、教學應用、課程設計，並探討AI於EMI教學實踐應用之助力。

  3. 時間：114年10月17日（星期五）上午9時10分至下午4時30分及114年10月18日（星期六）上午9時10分至下午5時 30分。

Subject: Submission of Promotional Poster and Agenda for the EMI Teaching Resource Center’s “Shaping the Future of Bilingual Collaboration: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning” Symposium – Invitation for Faculty Participation and Request for Official Leave Approval

Description:

Our EMI Teaching Resource Center is organizing the “Shaping the Future of Bilingual Collaboration: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning” symposium to facilitate faculty from different disciplines in sharing learning outcomes and EMI teaching experiences, thereby promoting deeper interaction and exchange.

The symposium will feature:

  • Presentations of participants’ achievements from the 36-hour EMI teaching enhancement program at our center

  • Off-campus training at Teachers College, Columbia University, USA

  • Off-campus training at the University of Texas at Austin, USA

In addition, the event includes two keynote lectures and an EMI comprehensive panel discussion to explore the integration of EMI theory and practice, teaching applications, curriculum design, and the use of AI in EMI teaching practice.
