Designing Learner-Centered Assessment in EMI Classrooms: From Scores to Learning—Making Assessment More Meaningful and Supportive

講師： 歐子綺老師-政治大學創新國際學院學士班副教授

簡介/在英語授課（EMI）課堂中，教師常面臨「如何同時評量學生的內容理解與英語表達」的挑戰。本工作坊以「學習者為中心」為出發點，介紹在 EMI 教學情境中可行的評量設計策略，並透過案例分析與實作練習，協助教師設計兼顧內容與語言的評量規則與回饋方式。參與者將學習如何讓評量成為支持學生學習的歷程，而不只是成果檢核。

參加對象：各大專院之教師及碩博士生

報名日期：即日起至2025年12月30日（星期二）中午12時止。

*本次工作坊以全英文方式進行

  • Title: Designing Learner-Centered Assessment in EMI Classrooms: From Scores to Learning—Making Assessment More Meaningful and Supportive

  • Workshop Overview: In English-Medium Instruction (EMI) classrooms, instructors often face the challenge of assessing both students’ content understanding and their English expression simultaneously. This workshop, grounded in a learner-centered approach, introduces practical assessment design strategies tailored for EMI contexts. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to develop assessment criteria and feedback mechanisms that balance content knowledge and language skills. The workshop aims to transform assessment into a process that supports student learning rather than merely serving as an evaluation of outcomes. 


  • Notes: Lunch will be provided. All are welcome to attend!
  •  The workshop will be conducted in English. 


Eligibility: Faculty members and graduate students from universities and colleges nationwide

Registration Period: From now until 12:00 PM, Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Note: This workshop will be conducted entirely in English.
