【轉知】國立中興大學「EMI 教學知能培訓工作坊」/National Chung Hsing University "EMI Teaching Skills Training Workshop"

主旨：檢送本校EMI教學資源中心辦理2場「EMI 教學知能培訓工作坊」，敬請惠予轉知並鼓勵貴校教師踴躍報名參加，請查照。

說明：

一、為協助各大專院校提升EMI課程之教學知能，本校EMI教學資源中心將辦理旨揭2場工作坊，秉持資源共享之理念，提升教師教授EMI課程之助益及成效。

二、旨揭2場工作坊資訊如下：

(一)上午場

１、主題：EMI in Intercultural Perspectives

２、講者：Dr. Remi Nicolas CHAUVY 國立中興大學環境工程學系教授

３、時間：113年9月21日（星期六）10時至12時

４、地點：Google Meet線上會議，將於活動前一日寄送會議連結。

(二)下午場

１、主題：處理情緒也處理事情的EMI教學助理(TA)攻略

２、講者：王惠鈴 逢甲大學全校國際生大一不分系學士班主任

３、時間：113年9月21日（星期六）13時至15時

４、地點：Google Meet線上會議，將於活動前一日寄送會議連結。

Subject: Notification of Two "EMI Teaching Skills Training Workshops" Organized by Our EMI Teaching Resource Center - Please Inform and Encourage Your Faculty to Register and Participate

Description:

  1. To assist colleges and universities in enhancing the teaching skills of EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses, our EMI Teaching Resource Center will organize the aforementioned two workshops. Upholding the principle of resource sharing, we aim to improve the effectiveness and benefits of teaching EMI courses for faculty members.

  2. Information about the Two Workshops:

    (1) Morning Session

    • Topic: EMI in Intercultural Perspectives
    • Speaker: Dr. Remi Nicolas CHAUVY, Professor, Department of Environmental Engineering, National Chung Hsing University
    • Time: September 21, 2024 (Saturday), 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
    • Location: Google Meet online meeting, with the meeting link to be sent the day before the event

  3. (2) Afternoon Session

    • Topic: Strategies for EMI Teaching Assistants (TAs) to Manage Emotions and Tasks
    • Speaker: Ms. Hui-Ling Wang, Director, Freshman Program for International Students, Feng Chia University
    • Time: September 21, 2024 (Saturday), 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
    • Location: Google Meet online meeting, with the meeting link to be sent the day before the event

    • Registration Period: From now until September 20, 2024, 5:00 PM
