主旨:本校EMI教學資源中心辦理《哥倫比亞大學EMI教師培訓課程》之資訊,詳如說明,請惠予轉知並邀請貴校EMI教師踴躍報名參加。
說明:
一、本校EMI教學資源中心(以下簡稱本中心)為因應2030雙語政策與國際化需求,將於113年11月至114年7月期間與美國哥倫比亞大學師範學院 ( Teachers College, Columbia University )合作辦理《哥倫比亞大學EMI教師培訓課程》,借鏡多元的教學模式與方針,協助教師全面提升英語授課品質與知識應用。
二、本專案旨在培訓EMI教師強化EMI教學實務,將結合線上同步教學、非同步討論、現場指導等多元教學法,以全方位的學習體驗,囊括需求評估與學習分析、基礎教學技能、21世紀教學法、教學科學與實踐四大教學模組。參與者預計需投入約200至220小時,其中包括約100至110小時的課程學習時間,及額外準備作業、研究與考察之時間。參加教師須具備良好的英語能力,並能全程參與課程及完成相關研究。申請截止日期為2024年10月20日,歡迎符合條件的教師踴躍報名。

Please disseminate this information and invite your EMI teachers to actively register for participation.
In response to the 2030 bilingual policy and the demand for internationalization, our EMI Teaching Resource Center (hereafter referred to as "the Center") will collaborate with Teachers College, Columbia University to offer the "Columbia University EMI Teacher Training Course" from November 2024 to July 2025. This course aims to enhance the quality of English-medium instruction through diverse teaching models and strategies.
The project aims to train EMI teachers to strengthen their teaching practices. It will combine synchronous online teaching, asynchronous discussions, and on-site guidance to provide a comprehensive learning experience. The course will include four main teaching modules: needs assessment and learning analysis, foundational teaching skills, 21st-century teaching methods, and teaching science and practice. Participants are expected to invest approximately 200 to 220 hours, including about 100 to 110 hours of course learning time, along with additional time for assignments, research, and field studies. Participants should have good English proficiency and be able to fully engage in the course and complete related research. The application deadline is October 20, 2024, and we encourage qualified teachers to register.
