【轉知】國立臺灣科技大學-《ESP教師培訓》課程(ESP Teacher Training Program)

主旨：本校EMI教學資源中心辦理《ESP教師培訓》實體及線上課程，詳如說明，請惠予轉知並邀請貴校教師踴躍報名參加，請查照。

說明：

  1. 本校EMI教學資源中心(以下簡稱本中心)配合2030雙語政策及大一英文改革，協助各校學生銜接EMI課程，建議於大一起開設ESP（English for Special Purposes，專業領域英文）課程，將職場情境與領域需求融入大一英文教學內容，奠定學生良好的專業領域語言基礎，接軌 EMI課程與未來職場需要。

  2. 為協助專業英文老師對於ESP教學內容與領域職場情境有更多了解，特辦理此課程，廣邀領域英文老師參與。

  3. ESP教師培訓課程資訊：

           (1)課程時間：114年11月7日~114年11月28日，共計20小時。（ESP課程設計分享8小時+專業領域情境分享4小時，作業+成果討論與分享8小時）。
           (2)課程地點：國立臺灣科技大學及Microsoft Teams（線上專業領域教師分享環節）。

           (3)全程參與，可獲得臺科大EMI資源中心頒發電子版證書。

           (1)報名對象：各大專校院專任(案)領域英文教師。

           (2)報名期間：即日起至額滿為止。敬請把握機會，錄取者本中心將以信件通知。

Subject: Announcement of the “ESP Teacher Training” Hybrid Program organized by the NTUST EMI Teaching Resource Center.

Description:
In line with Taiwan’s 2030 Bilingual Policy and the Freshman English Reform, the NTUST EMI Teaching Resource Center (hereafter referred to as “the Center”) aims to support universities in preparing students for EMI courses by encouraging the offering of ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses from the freshman year.

ESP courses integrate professional contexts and domain-specific needs into English instruction, helping students establish a solid foundation for professional communication and future EMI or workplace requirements.

To help ESP instructors better understand domain-specific teaching contexts and classroom practices, the Center will offer this training program and cordially invites English instructors from all higher education institutions to participate.

Program Information

  • Duration: November 7 – November 28, 2025 (20 hours in total)
    (8 hours of ESP course design sharing + 4 hours of domain-specific context discussion + 8 hours of project work and presentation)

  • Format: Hybrid (On-site at NTUST and online sessions via Microsoft Teams)

  • Certificate: Participants who complete all sessions will receive an electronic certificate issued by the NTUST EMI Teaching Resource Center.
