Clause 1. The College of Electrical and Communication Engineering has established this set of details for Collegial Meeting (hereafter as the Meeting) based on Clause 10 of YZU Organizational Charter.

Clause 2. Collegial Meeting is responsible for discussing the following matters:

  1. Handling teaching, research, service and other matters related to this College.
  2. Reviewing regular charters for the programs and departments under this College.
  3. Executing the decisions reached at the administrative meetings at the university level.
  4. Coordinating and making a decision of matters involving different departments and programs.
  5. Handling the improvement items related to the administrative aspects of the university.
  6. Handling the matters assigned by the President and College Head.

Clause 3. The Committee is organized by 9 to 16 teacher representatives. The supervisors at the collegial and departmental levels are automatically considered regular committee members. Each department/program will elect 3 teacher representatives. The term of all committee members is one year and can be renewed. If necessary, the chairman may invite student representatives to participate in the meeting to discuss matters related to the rights of the students.

Clause 4. This Meeting holds two meetings per semester. If necessary, the College Head may call temporal meetings.

Clause 5. When this Meeting meets, the related staff may be notified for attending the meeting.

Clause 6. This set of details is ratified in the administrative meeting before announcement and implementation. All amendments/revisions require the same procedures.
