Amazon Web Services Certification Subsidy Scheme

Article 1: The College of Electrical and Communication Engineering (hereinafter referred to as “the College”) has formulated Amazon Web Services Certification Subsidy Regulations (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulation”) to promote faculty, staff, and students of our university to obtain Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications during their time at the university.

Article 2: The subsidy targets faculty, staff, and enrolled students of our university. The application procedure is as follows:

1. The application process is divided into two periods:

• First period: January 1 to June 20
• Second period: August 1 to October 31

2. Registration for the exam, taking the exam, and applying for the subsidy must all occur within the same application period. Each applicant may only apply for the subsidy once per period.

3. After completing the certification exam, email the following documents and the subsidy application form to the college office: a PDF copy of the notice of exam results, a PDF copy of the AWS certification (if passed), a PDF copy of the Pearson VUE Confirmation of Payment email, and your Taiwan Resident Certificate.

4. The subsidy amounts are as follows:

• Applicants who score 600 or above will receive the following subsidies:

• Applicants who score below 600 will receive 50% of the above subsidy amounts.
  

Article 3: All required documents must be submitted before June 20 or October 31 of the respective application period. Late submissions or applications submitted after the budget is exhausted will not be accepted.

Article 4: The Regulation shall be implemented after the approval of the College Faculty Meeting and shall be amended in the same manner.
