Guideline for the Review Implementation of Young Scholar Research Award of the College of Electrical and Communication

Article I This Guideline is formulated in accordance with the “Reward Regulations for Young Scholar Research Award” of the University. All matters not specified in this Guideline will be handled in accordance with the Reward Regulations for Young Scholar Research Award of the University.
Article II Applicants should submit the relevant application materials to the College before the end of August each year.
Article III After determining the list of applicants, the Dean of the College will be the convenor to form the “Young Scholar Research Award Review Panel” , with the heads of the college/department/school as ex officio members of the panel, and two faculty members (including degree program or classroom supervisors) elected by each departmental group as members of the panel. The applicants should refrain from serving as a member of the panel.
Article IV Review and Recommendation Method: A majority vote by secret ballot will be taken, and up to two finalists will be recommended to the Research and Development Office for re-examination.
Article V This Guideline shall be implemented after the approval by the college affairs meeting, and the same applies to any amendments.
